Terms and conditions: (1). Over 18s only, excluding employees of this outlet, employees of the Heineken Group; and anyone professionally connected with this competition and their immediate families. Restricted to

residents only. (2). ENTRY FEE OF £20 PER PERSON. Ask bar staff for Entry Forms, (or from www.epa.org.uk). Complete the form and send with a cheque/postal order, made payable to the chosen venue. All entries to be sent to venue prior to the qualifier date. (3). Rules will be played to World 8 Ball Pool Rules (see www.epa.org.uk ). (4). Play will commence at 10am on date given for each venue and the event will be completed on that day, with a minimum of 1 player from each venue, going to play at the World Finals in Blackpool, where they will compete from 30^th June to 3rd July in the early stages, and if they progress to the Televised stages 7^th to 9^th July. Those who win the ‘Qualifiers’ will receive an information pack about the World Finals. (5). Only 12 venues, see ‘Entry Forms’ for venue details and date played. (6). Each venue requires a minimum of 16 players and a maximum of 32 players. One winner from 16-31 players will go through to the World Finals. In the event of 32 players entering, the final 2 players from each competition will progress to the World Finals. Limited to a maximum 32 players per venue. Winning players from the ‘Qualifier competition’ go forward to Blackpool and have 3 nights B&B accommodation and entry fee to World Championships paid for. There is no cash alternative. (7). All players must agree to abide by the Rules and Regulations of the E.P.A. – Tournament Directors decisions will be final. (8). Winner details will be available at www.epa.org.uk within 7 days of each qualifying event. (9). The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend this competition due to circumstances outside its control.

Premier Pool Promotions, in association with Eclipse Tattoo Studios, present the 2010 British Amateur Pool Open. Your chance to become one of the top amateur players in the country and pick up the £2,000 first prize.

Alongside the successful British Amateur Tour the Open event is another chance for amateur pool players to compete at the highest level and for prize monies not usually available exclusively to this level of the sport. The tournament is open to all players who have been amateurs since the beginning of 2008 and, subject to availability, you can qualify for the tournament from a venue near you.

Initial places are offered to tour players and PPP tournament players, after which there will be a series of qualifying events (subject to availability) for the opportunity of non-tour players to take part in the event. The Open will take place at Players Pool & Snooker Lounge, Queens Parade, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire ST5 1RW over the weekend of 25th-26th September 2010 with rounds 1 to 3 played on the Saturday and the prize money rounds on Sunday. If you’re fortunate enough to battle through the opening day rounds you’re guaranteed to pick up £100 on the Sunday and have a shot at that £2,000 first prize. All matches will be played to full World rules with the Saturday matches best of 11 frames and Sunday’s games played over the best of 13 frames. The venue is just north of Stoke-on-Trent and, for those using public transport, is just a short taxi ride from Stoke train station.

Players requiring overnight accommodation should contact Lee Kendall at the venue on 01782 660246 for deals on local hotels/guest houses near the club. Please note that there will be a dress code of dark trousers, dark shoes and shirt with a collar enforced on the Sunday.

Over £5,000 total prize fund! As well as the £2,000 on offer to the winner there will be £800 given to the runner-up, £350 for the Semi-Finalists and £200 paid to the Quarter-Finalists, plus £100 to the Last 16 placed players. An advanced draw, with player registration times, will be published in the forums exclusively at www.cueclubinternational.com

There will also be a £10-a-player amateur flyer on the Sunday, open to all amateur-qualified players who miss out on the prize money stages of the main event, paid out in prize money on an all-in all-out basis.
